Clean and paint the engine bay.
Clean and paint the transmission and driveshaft.
Install the rebuilt 1963 230ci.
New exhaust coming soon.
Then I'll clean and paint the underside of the hood and install new wiring.
Out with the 1972 250ci.

Just wanted to thank you for all your excellent info on T5 transmissions. Re-building one to put between the dual-carb 2-261 and a to-be-rebuilt 3.73 rear end in my 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster. Your info, links, fotos are most helpful. THANKS MUCH, jim

Great site! I have a 65 c10 with a 230 and manual 3. The engine bay looks so clean! What kind of paint are you using?

Thanks for that info! Will try a similar paint on my heater in a few days. Hope it will look as good as yours 🤞

I know this thread is over a year old. But I want to ask, what did you use for a master cylinder when you did the duel circuit brake system? I see it still non power brakes is it 4whl drum?
