T5 Transmission Tear Down
Here are the steps I used to disassemble a non-world class T5. You will need a few special tools and a shop press.
WEAR SAFETY GLASSES! Flying springs and clips can cause an injury.
Work carefully and you will succeed.

After tearing down this T5, I've concluded that the prior owner put a 1988 tail housing on a 1989 transmission so they would have a cable speedometer connection. A 1989 S10 T5 tail housing would have a VSS speedo connection.
