How hard can it be to remove the instrument cluster? Just a couple of knobs and 5 screws, right? I'm too embarrassed to tell you how long it took, but I'll tell you exactly how you should do it. If you have never removed one before, I might be able to save you some time.

Yesterday I bought a used compressor and a 1 ton hoist from a guy on Craigslist. The price was fair considering these tools are from Harbor Freight. I had to install a new 220V plug on the compressor. I found a lot of rusty water inside the tank, so I'll need to clean that out too. This compressor makes 8.8 SCFM @40psi and 3.5 SCFM @ 90 psi.
This 1 ton hoist should be big enough for the work I'll be doing. I bought a new 3 ton ram and sold the 8 ton ram in this photo. It came with 2 load levelers.
